Terms of use

What this site is
CalcSolver is a set of free, browser-based calculators — a scientific calculator and a cluster of fraction, decimal and percent conversion tools. There's no account, no download, and no payment for any of it. Using the site means agreeing to these terms.
Acceptable use
Use the calculators for their intended purpose: working out a calculation. Don't attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a scale that degrades it for other visitors, or use it to violate another law or another party's rights. Nothing on this site should be copied and republished as your own work.
No warranty on results
Every calculator here is built and checked carefully, and its output is verified against the engine that produces it as part of how this site is built. Even so, CalcSolver is provided "as is," with no guarantee that a given result is error-free, current, or fit for a particular purpose. A result you rely on for a graded assignment, an exam, or a financial decision should be double-checked independently — the same disclaimer that appears in the footer of every page on this site.
Limitation of liability
CalcSolver and whoever operates it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on a result it produces, to the fullest extent the law allows. That includes a wrong grade, a missed deadline, or a financial outcome tied back to a number this site calculated.
No affiliation
CalcSolver is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any school, university, exam board, or educational institution. References to homework, exams, or coursework describe what the calculators are useful for, not a relationship with any institution that assigns them.
Changes to these terms
Any material change to these terms will be reflected on this page, with the date above updated to match.
