What this site does not do

CalcSolver has no accounts and no sign-in. Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser — the numbers you type are never sent to a server, logged, or stored anywhere, by us or by any of the analytics or advertising described below. That claim is about the calculators specifically. The rest of this page covers what the site as a whole does.

What data is and is not collected

Not collected, by this site, ever: anything typed into a calculator, an account, a name, an email address, or any other way to identify a specific visitor. CalcSolver has no sign-up and no server-side database of visitor activity.

Collected: standard web server logs (below), and page-view analytics through Google Analytics (below). Once advertising is active, the third-party ad vendors serving those ads collect their own data through cookies, covered in its own section below. If what this site collects changes beyond what's described here, this page is updated in the same change, with the date above moved to match.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. That sets a small number of cookies and sends standard page-view data — the page URL, the referring site, approximate location, and device type — to Google. It has no connection to any calculator on this site: it cannot see an expression you type, a result you get, or anything else that happens inside a calculator.

Third-party advertising

This site displays advertising served by Google and other third-party advertising vendors. Those vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google's own controls at google.com/settings/ads, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies generally at aboutads.info.

Cookies and local storage

CalcSolver's own code sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's local storage. The calculator history strip you see while using a tool lives only in that page's memory — it disappears when the tab closes or the page reloads, the same as any other unsaved browser state.

The cookies that do exist on this site come from the two sources above: Google Analytics, and — once active — third-party advertising. Both are controlled by your browser's own settings. Every modern browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies from its settings menu; blocking them doesn't break any calculator on this site, since none of them depend on a cookie to work.

Standard server logs

Like any website, the hosting server records basic technical request data (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) for security and reliability purposes. These logs are not used to identify individual visitors.

Children and age

CalcSolver has no accounts, no age gate, and no way to find out how old a visitor is — there's nothing here that could identify one. The calculators and the math they cover — fractions, percentages, trigonometry, order of operations — are written for students working through school-level and exam-level problems, not designed or marketed for young children specifically: no characters, no games, no child-directed design anywhere on the site.
